The Symbol
The lotus symbol is designed to reflect the meditative posture of a woman, expressing calmness, balance, and inner harmony. The necklace element within the lotus highlights the femininity and elegance of women, while also subtly suggesting that the brand offers accessories in addition to clothing.
The lotus rises from water -- rooted in struggle, blooming in light. Across ancient cultures it carries the meaning of rebirth, the quiet power of a woman who begins again, transformed and unhurried.
The two outer petals of the lotus are shaped to resemble the letter M, creating a visual connection to the brand name Mazonkiki. This integration allows the symbol to communicate both the brand identity and its concept in a simple and meaningful way.
At the base rests the infinity symbol -- a reminder that beauty, when truly felt, has no end. It does not fade with seasons or trends. It simply continues.

The Creative Life

Kiki's creative life began long before fashion. Growing up in Sochi with Armenian roots, she was making clothes for her dolls before she could buy them. By her teens she had moved into music and dance -- piano, choreography, the language of movement that would later define the way her clothes feel on the body.
Moscow brought the stage -- costume, light, hair, and movement blurring into one. It was here she first saw hairdressing as creative expression, not just craft. When she moved to Canada, that spark became a discipline.
Kiki developed hair art into a sculptural practice, creating intricate designs from human hair -- earning her the name "The Crazy Designer" and a place in competition history: the first to win the ABBA competition on her first attempt. First place at the 2014 NAHA awards followed. From those years came the creative foundation for everything Mazonkiki would become.

Kiki made history in 2013 by becoming the first designer to win the ABBA competition on her first attempt. Her avant-garde creations, which included not only hair design but also makeup and dress design, impressed all 15 judges, earning her the nickname "The Crazy Designer." This success led to an invitation to serve as a jury member in France, marking the beginning of her international recognition.
Known for her bold, experimental, and theatrical approach, Kiki has since competed in numerous prestigious competitions, including winning first place at the 2014 NAHA awards. Her work continues to challenge fashion and beauty norms, gaining invitations to showcase her unique vision at major events.

The Making
Mazonkiki's makers span four countries and centuries of craft tradition. Kiki works directly with small ateliers and independent artisans -- never large factories, never mass production. Every piece is crafted in small batches by hands that understand their material intimately.
Wearable Art
Before Mazonkiki, before fashion, Kiki was a photographer. Her eye finds drama in stillness -- a fold of light, a shift of colour, the tension between softness and edge.
The Wearable Art collection is what happens when that eye meets silk. Each scarf begins as a photograph taken by Kiki, then printed onto pure silk in limited editions. The image doesn't illustrate the fabric. It becomes the fabric. A photograph you can wear, styled your way, carrying a piece of Kiki's vision against your skin.
I always imagine the woman first. Not a perfect woman. A real woman — full of feeling, movement, softness, strength, and dreams of her own. When I create, I want each piece to carry more than fabric. I want it to hold a mood, a little escape, a sense of beauty that feels personal. Mazonkiki is for women who dress with emotion, who love detail, and who want elegance without losing their freedom. Kiki is the founder and creative director of Mazonkiki. She is an award-winning avant-garde hairstylist, photographer, musician and choreographer based in Calgary, Canada. She designs every Mazonkiki piece personally and is also the woman you see in the brand's editorial imagery — the designer and the model are the same person.
