The hands behind every piece

The Philosophy

Every Mazonkiki piece begins with a relationship. Not a factory, not a supplier — a person. Someone who has spent years mastering a craft, who works in a studio or workshop where the pace is set by skill rather than a production line.

We work with independent artisans across Turkey and Vietnam. They are silk weavers, jewellery makers, clothing ateliers and leather craftspeople. What connects them is the same thing that connects every Mazonkiki piece — human hands, unhurried work, and the belief that beauty is worth making properly.

Bursa

Silk Weaving
Scarves Collection
Bursa — Silk weaving image 1

Bursa has been Turkey's silk capital since the Ottoman Empire — centuries of accumulated knowledge woven into every workshop. The weavers here work with silk thread on traditional looms, producing fabric with a lustre and drape that modern manufacturing simply cannot replicate.

The Mazonkiki scarf collection was born here. Each design was developed in conversation with the weavers, choosing patterns and weights that would honour both the silk and the woman wearing it.

Ankara

Clothing Ateliers
The Wardrobe Collection
Ankara — Clothing atelier image 1

The clothing ateliers in Ankara operate on a fundamentally different philosophy to mass production. Small teams, close attention, and the understanding that a garment made carefully will be worn differently than one made quickly.

Mazonkiki's clothing pieces — the kaftans, dresses, lounge sets and kimonos — are produced here in small batches. Each run is limited. When the fabric runs out, that design is complete.

Jewellery Studios
The Accents Collection
Istanbul — Jewellery studio image 1

Istanbul's jewellery quarter has been producing gold-worked pieces for centuries. The independent studios here combine traditional goldsmithing techniques with contemporary design — creating pieces that feel both timeless and modern.

Every necklace, bracelet, earring and set in the Mazonkiki Accents collection comes from these studios. Gold-plated by hand, finished individually. No two pieces are quite identical.

Hoi An

Leather Artisans
The Leather Edit
Hoi An — Leather workshop image 1

Hoi An is one of the world's great leather towns. The workshops here have been crafting bags, belts and accessories for generations — each family passing down techniques that cannot be learned from a manual.

The Mazonkiki leather collection is made in these workshops. Every bag is shaped by hand, stitched individually, and finished with the kind of care that only comes from someone who has spent their life working with leather. Limited designs, limited quantities.

The Mazonkiki Way

Every piece you receive carries the fingerprint of the person who made it. That is not a marketing line — it is the literal truth of how Mazonkiki works.
